PCPC member Al Goold, himself a former police officer, attended the annual service of The Scottish Police Memorial Trust on Wednesday 3rd September at The Scottish Police College, Tulliallan.
The memorial wall was unveiled in September 2004 by HRH The Princess Royal (who also attended its 10th anniversary) thus making this year the 21st service. Al has attended more than 15 of these services as the official photographer. The marble wall has the names of all known officers to have died on duty in Scotland. Research continues and historical deaths, as well as recent ones are added each year.
