Summer Assignment
The Summer Assignment is a themed competition which encourages members to take images over the summer break. Seven themes are set and the photographer must choose one image from four separate themes. The themes for 2024 / 2025 were:
Candid, Curves, Hidden Faces, Leading Lines, Seascape(s), Shadow(s) and Structure(s)
The winner of the Summer Assignment competition in 2024 / 2025 was George Birnie with his four images Evening Relaxation (Candid), Round the Bend (Curves), Madness (Hidden Faces) and Armadillo Reflection (Structure).
Other category winners were Guy Phillips - Learning Scottish (Candid), Tom Clark - Towards the Sunset (Leading Lines), Duncan McEwan - Light on the Ocean (Seascape) and Deck Seats (Shadows) and Iain Gardner - Forth Bridge (Structure)
