The Bimonthly competition is an open competition which is run as a league over three rounds. Images are judged individually and league points awarded for placings and commendations.

The third round of the Bimonthly was won by Ken Dow, with his image Swallowtail. In the advanced section placings went to Louise Walker, Iain Gardener, Mike Cruise and Neill Ross. Debbie Whittingham took the top place in the non-advanced section, with placings going to Kenny Graham and Debbie Whittingham.

After three rounds Mike Cruise took top place in the Bimonthly league with Debbie Whittingham taking the award for the best non-advanced member.
